Used ISSA Canarias geotechnical drill on Mercedes Benz Unimog truck SOLD!

This versatile drill rig of Spanish production has carried on a great number of geological–geotechnical studies in the central area of Spain. However, it is possible to drill a well with this equipment also, in case you have the tools and devices required as an air compressor or a “down the hole” hammer. Anyway, it is completely equipped in order to drill geotechnical holes to study soils and rocks. As you can see in the images this equipment has a “Magerit” dynamic penetrometer ( S.P.T. beating unit) which is essential to analyze the soil compactness or to get soil samples to be taken to the lab, by the use of the Shelby sampler.

Its water-mud pump makes possible the fluid circulation in case it is required inside the hole and it is the perfect device to support our work. Besides, the truck mounts a 1000 liter water depot often needed because of the scarcity of water at the work place.

A robust winch is also available. This is indispensable to pull up the rods. Its upper disposition in the mast results really useful and makes the work easier.
A very interesting aspect of this equipment is the fact that this does not get the power from the engine of the truck, but it has its own 4 cylinder Deutz engine. So, the time of work is share between both engines which makes it possible to enlarge the life of the equipment.

Having in mind the comfort, this rig has, besides the hydraulic rotation head, a hydraulic clamp and inferior hydraulic retainer.

As far as a secure work platform of is advisable, the drill presents four cylinders with adjustable plates.

Regarding the tools required, our equipment includes rods (50 millimeter diameter), pipes (115 millimeter diameter) , S.P.T. and Shelby samplers, bits, and every item needed in geotechnical works.
